Hi everyone,

There is a HIKE on this Sunday 29th January followed by a visit to a local pub if we're nice to the bus driver :)!!!

Usual details apply- i.e. bring full waterproofs, no jeans, hiking boots mandatory, lunch, water & €8 for the bus. Usual meeting point at the Montrose hotel opposite UCD at 10.00am SHARP! :)

Dear members,

We will continue our weekly hike this Sunday with a wonderful hike around the beautiful Lugnaquilla mountain. See http://ucdmountaineeringclub.com/directions for pick up directions. We will be leaving from the montrose hotel at 10:15 and no later. Any one with out water proof trousers, jacket and over the ankle hiking boots will be refused at the bus. So please bring appropriate gear, lunch and water, and 8 euro for the bus! The weather conditions are not supposed to be fantastic (cold and damp!!) at the weekend so bring appropriate clothing, opposed to last Sundays beautiful hike so I hope to see everyone out and ready for some Wicklow wind, bog, rain (only a little like usual) and most of all the fantastic scenery.

UCDMC Meets Secretary

The first weekend out after the long summer so we'll be starting off slow! We'll be going for a nice stroll around the beautiful Glendalough.
Runners will be accepted for this one hike and beginners weekend ONLY. Any people in jeans may be REFUSED at the bus.

If in doubt about what to bring read our gear list. Bus pickup locations here. The bus will leave from Earlsfort terrace at 10.00am and Jurys Montrose at 10.15am. 26/09/2010. Please remember to bring 8 euro for the bus! Most importantly come along make new friends and have fun!

THIS SUNDAY - BEGINNER HIKE - FUN FUN FUN!!!

Bus leaves from Earlsfort Terrace at 10am and The Montrose at 10.15am. Please bring appropriate gear as you will be refused at the bus if wearing runners/ jeans! Where are we going? Its a suprise! Somewhere in Wicklow!

The first hike of the new year will be on Feb 7th, the weekend after refreshers day! We'll head somewhere in Wicklow and go for a stroll around the hills. Any new members are welcome to join and we encourage you to check out the gear lists on the website. As ever no runners or jeans will be permitted on the hike and people in unsuitable attire will be refused at the bus.

Lead by the legend that is Declan O'Keefe! People will not know what happened to them!

Djouce via the lovely powerscourt waterfall! Bring food. Check the equipment lists if you don't know what to bring. If you show up in jeans and/ or runners you will be left at the bus stop. No exceptions.

This weeks hike will go from along the military road to the Wicklow gap or even glendalough! Fun in the bog guaranteed for all!
