Lugnacoille, the highest mountain in the Wicklow range and the highest in Leinster will be attempted by the club on this date. Standing tall, at a lofty 925m above sea level, rumour has it that on a clear day you can see Mont Blanc from the summit. Lugnacoille is the quintessential Wicklow mountain; flat, boggy and old. The hike will border the Glen of Imaal Artillery range, that's for information purposes by the way, (you can leave the helmets at home). Anyway we'll be making the classic UCD maneuver; start at Fraughan Rock Glen and end in Fenton's, that's a pub - see where we're going with this ... ? | 3
